Sugar and Spice and All Things Nice
I have always wanted to design a little girls nursery, if I did it might look something like this. I love the mix of old and new, modern crib, crisp white frames, with the more traditional elements, chandelier, vintage chairs and of course pink. Just beautiful.

Cate Blanchett's Home
Cate Blanchett is one of those women who women love. She is talented, stylish, looks happy in her marriage and appears to be a wonderful mother and an added appeal to me is she is a mother of all boys. She seems to live a charmed life but does not flaunt it in our faces. In fact she seems like someone who could just as easily fit in at a picnic in the park as she does at red carpet events.

I love the Jacaranda in full bloom, we have one also and I love it, despite the work that they take to maintain.
I loved hearing that the beautiful home in Belle Feb/March issue was actually hers, I pulled the issue back out quicker than humanly possible and reread every word. I have to admit I love having a sticky beak in the homes of others but the home of Cate and Andrew held a certain appeal. In the issue they mentioned that the home belonged to an Art Lover, I like that they didn’t use the opportunity for some PR like so many celebrities do.
This is the guest room, I think the plane says I have a sense of humour and I don’t need to be taken too seriously.

Vintage Hollywood Regency Screen
What a Divine Hollywood Regency Screen for sale now at Home Furniture on Consignment. Wouldn't it be beautiful displayed behind a bed. Very glam.
I wish I was in Brisbane
If I was in Brisbane on the 8th of May I would be waiting at the door at the crack of dawn.

Modern Mom
I love this photo I found on my favourite Blog Shelter. There are so many aspects that appeal to me: the beautiful chair, the exposed brick wall which reminds me of our first NY apartment, a stylish mum, that lamp which is similar to the Orson and Blake one I am coveting at the moment.

Love That Leopard
Kitchen Stools
I am on the hunt for some reasonably priced kitchen bench stools and I have found these, I am thinking with a coat of white paint and some new fabric on the cushion they may come up a treat. Lets see if I win them.

I love these but they scream expensive,

and I adore the Thonet chair, but I am hoping to have something with a back for the kids

Rocket Man
As I was flipping through the SMH one morning my son stopped me to show me a very cool rocket that took up a full page, as a little boy he obviously loves rockets. I started noticing these posters all around Sydney so I called Amex and asked them if I could have one. And guess what they said yes. So it has turned from this...

To this ...
OK, so initially they sent me a much smaller version but of course I wasn't happy with that. I called JC Decaux and they happily gave me a real bus shelter version. It is huge, and my little rocket man loves it.

Now I have my eyes on the new Channel lipstick poster, it would look pretty cool in the room of my teenage niece.

Beautiful Classic Bicycle

I currently have this beautiful bicycle for sale on ebay. I was extremely excited one day to find two of them for sale at auction. I have always looked the new versions of this classic for sale however always balked at the $1500 price tag so I sent my husband to the auction and to my surprise he came home with two of them. As I can only use 1 I have the other up for sale. Now I just need some Kelly Weastler Trellis Wallpaper in my entrance way to go with my beautiful bicycle.

Beautiful Fabric
This fabric has moved up my favourite list. I need to find the perfect spot to use it, but I can't decide which colour I like better.

Real Estate Love - Bardon
I love this house that is for sale in the Brisbane suburb of Bardon at the moment. It is so beautiful I have already planned the decoration, now I just need to win the lotto oh and move to another state.

Kitchen - it is pretty good actually, needs some new chandeliers / lights and I would love to get my hands on that informal dining area at the end of the kitchen.

Beautiful facade, I must admit I am not a fan of having the swimming pool in the front garden, the thought of being visible in my swimmers is not appealing however for this home I am sure I could grow a big privacy hedge.

The entrance is beautiful, so large and roomy. I of course would paint all the wood skirting boards and architraves and with an entry of this size I would love to have some wallpaper and a beautiful black door like the one below.

Something like this, but with a different light fitting..

Or this ..

Then the dining room, again a nice new light fitting but a fairly blank canvas.

To create something like this? Curtains, colour and chandeliers?

Or this perfection would be ideal.

Next on to the living room.
To this... ahhh, love that colour on the walls.
This little girls room would need to be turned into a little boys den.

Then I would be happy never to decorate again... well maybe just a little.

Kitchen Table
I love this little kitchen table. In my kitchen I also have a little table but it is more of the two foot of the floor kind for the kids. The problem is that my husband and I seem to eat at it too more than we actually eat at the dining room table, very sad but practical.
Photo from http://ccinteriors.blogspot.com/

I love a little bit of leopard print - especially teamed with pink.
